Cancellation Policy

Dr. Michelle Rassool is committed to providing you a high quality, reliable and professional service. We understand that life is unpredictable and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To help keep this service fair, accessible and reliable we want to let you know our policy around cancellations and rescheduling. There’s usually quite a long waitlist, and to minimise the delay we ask you to commit to your appointment time, and cancel early to give to give others the opportunity to take your place.

  • Generally where possible, we are happy to reschedule or adjust appointments for you.

  • If you need to cancel within 7 days of your appointment, we are unable to provide a refund or to reschedule. If unforeseen emergencies arise, please contact us directly so we can assess the situation on a case-by-case basis.

  • If you do not attend your appointment without notifying us, the full appointment amount is due, we are unable to provide another appointment without prepayment.

  • If you are more than 15 mins late to your appointment, we reserve the right to consider your appointment non attended. We are committed to providing you and your dog the highest level of care, which is not possible in a shortened timeframe.

  • Appointments are generally expected to be prepaid to streamline your booking.

When providing a refund, a small amount will be withheld to cover processing fees (approximately $5-10). Refunds should be seen in your account within 7 days.

In most cases, we are very happy to reschedule your appointment instead of cancelling - please feel free to contact the team at hello@drmichellerassool.com to discuss options. If you are experiencing circumstances that make it tough for you to attend an appointment, please let me know. We want to make this service accessible and fair, and recognise that life can take unexpected turns!

There may be rare cases where we need to cancel, reschedule or otherwise change your appointment - if you cannot or do not wish to attend these services, we will of course refund you in full.
